She has covered sports for major outlets across the globe. Her time as a reporter at The Washington Post was spent reporting on several Olympics, Grand Slam Tennis, football and basketball. Nichols began a nine year time at ESPN in which she won two Emmy Awards, and featured on many of ESPN's top programs like NFL Countdown and SportsCenter.
